Evening storytelling

fun for all the family

I can guarantee an evening of laughter and great interactive family fun.

The performance is lively and entertaining, and all the family will enjoy joining in.

You could invite younger and older siblings, parents, grandparents and carers. Let them all see, hear and enjoy the type of entertainment the school's children have experienced during the day.

I promise that an evening of my storytelling will have everyone going home smiling, surprised and buzzing.

It's a great opportunity to:

  • meet parents for a social evening
  • promote your literacy work
  • sell books from your Book Fair
  • relax and have fun

Our family storytelling evening was fantastic. The amount of involvement and audience participation was excellent and the pace of the evening was spot on. It was a perfect mixture of entertainment, humour and audience participation. How refreshing to listen to such a highly skilled performer. It was a hugely enjoyable evening for the whole family and we have had fantastic feedback from parents and children - "one of the best events at school ever". We hope it will not be too long until you are able to visit us again. I would have no hesitation in recommending a family story telling evening with Charlie Wilson.

Dear Charlie Wilson, I am writing to say thank you very much for coming to our school, especially for the storytelling evening. I really liked the storytelling evening because I got to be a musician. The stories and songs were really good, and I liked how you rhymed everything. Thanks again, from Catherine.
